This is pool is a remodel.
The pool was down at ground level and we raised to porch level.
We felt the best option for this pool was to built is a vanishing edge with a glass wall to avoid a feeling of being ‘boxed in’ a backyard surrounded by rather high walls.
The water flows over the glass edge into a trough where it’s pumped back up into the pool.
On the side of the pool, we built another vanishing edge with cantera stone.
The other two sides of the pool and the spa are built as ‘wet edges‘ where the water comes up at deck level, goes back into a slot to be gathered in the same container and pumped back up into the pool.
4 sides, 3 different techniques. Quite an unusual pool in the Tucson area.
